Departments

1. The Sunday School/Church Training Department​

Deacon Richard Egobi is the HOD and also doubles as the Supervising Minister. The goal of this department is to enhance the parish vision of quality and distinction by encouraging a culture of Christ-like behaviour into the parishioners through the teaching of fundamental Christian principles. This group is made of trained, educated and informed workers who regularly assist the Pastors to educate the Church spiritually and morally. This department comprises the Sunday School Unit, The Believers Class/Baptismal Class and the Workers-in-Training Class.

2. The Children/Teenagers Departments

The HOD of the Children’s department is Deaconess Osawe and the HOD of the Teenager’s department is Deacon Chukwukere. The Minister-in-charge of both departments is Pastor (Mrs) Taiwo. The main goals of these departments are to enhance the parish vision of quality and distinction by facilitating teachings and providing educational programs and activities that would enhance the spiritual growth of our children. As the Lord has explicitly instructed, the department takes it upon itself to bring up the children in the way that they should go – the way of the Lord (Proverbs 22:6).

3. The Youth Department

The HOD of the Youth department is Deacon Egobi. He reports directly to the Senior Pastor. The Youth Department consists of a group of vibrant young adults and singles. The passion of Chapel of His Glory’s Youth Department is to see young people from every nation touched by the Kingdom of God, and to develop a group of youth that will grow up to become God fearing adults. The Department disciples and develops Christ-like characters in Youth by laying the foundation to a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus through prayer and impartation of biblical knowledge.

4. The Prayers/Intercessors Department

Bro. Adeleke is the HOD and Supervising Minister of the department is the Senior Pastor. The goal of this department is to enhance the parish vision of quality and distinction. This group is tasked with conducting weekly/regular prayers for all issues that concern the parish and the parishioners. It is also tasked with receiving church-wide prayer requests and interceding on them.

5. The Music Department

The Music Department consists of singers and instrumentalists and is an integral part of the Church. The department enhances the parish vision through the praise and worship of God through music and musical activities. The department encourages personal and corporate praise, adoration and celebration of God at all times by leading others into His divine presence through thanksgiving, praise and worship.

6. The Multi-media Department

The Multi-media department is responsible for maintenance of technical equipment and media coverage of the church activities. The department is the focal point for audio, video and photography responsibilities in the church. This department is saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that all public address systems at the venue of church events are working all the time.

7. The Ushering Department

Deaconess Egobi is both the HOD and Minister-in-charge of the department. The goal of this department is to enhance the parish vision of quality and distinction by maintaining law and order during all services in the parish. The Ushers are responsible for helping to provide a welcoming and orderly environment during all worship services. The ushers meet, greet and seat the parishioners and visitors as they enter the sanctuary.

8. The Protocol Department

Bro. Otakhor is the HOD and the Supervising Minister is Assistant Pastor Ikpefuran. The goal of this department is to enhance the parish vision of quality and distinction. This department handles the coordination of logistics for all services and special events.

9. The Transportation Department

The HOD of the department is Bro. Ogunfojuri and the Minister-in-charge is Assistant Pastor Ikpefuran. The goal of this department is to enhance the parish vision of quality and distinction. This department handles the transportation of guest ministers as well as the provision of transportation for members of the parish and visitors alike.

10. The Tracts/Evangelism Department

Deaconess Osawe is the HOD and also doubles as the Supervising Minister. The goal of this department is to enhance the parish vision of quality and distinction by winning souls for Christ. Soul winners are trained through the Word of God to become ‘Fishers of Men’. Evangelism is said to be the heartbeat of God, and it is the great commission. The Church has the obligation to carry out this mandate. In order to achieve this, the Church aims at developing realistic strategies and being well organised in her efforts. The Evangelism department helps to organise and manage church resources in this regard.

11. The Welcoming and Follow-up/Assimilation Team

Sis. Amieyeofori is the HOD and the Minister-in-charge is Deaconess Ogunfojuri. The goal of this department is to enhance the parish vision of quality and distinction. This grouped is tasked with the responsibility of performing all welcoming formalities for new comers. The group is also responsible for following-up and encouraging up new members as well as old members.

12. The Cleaning Department

The HOD is Sis. Fomat and the Supervising Minister is Deaconess Osawe. The cleaning department is responsible for making sure the church premises and facilities are clean, usable and presentable at all times.

13. The Drama Department

Sis. Oluyede is the HOD and Deaconess Egobi is the Minister-in-charge. The goal of this department is to enhance the parish vision of quality and distinction by ministering in drama with the aim of winning souls and restoring backsliders to Christ.

14. The Church Maintenance/Facility Management Department

Bro. Osawe is the HOD and he reports directly to the Senior Pastor. The goal of this department is to enhance the parish vision of quality and distinction. This group is tasked with carrying out necessary repairs and overall maintenance of church premises/ building and equipment.

15. Church Administration

Sis. Amieyeofori is the HOD and the Minister-in-charge is Pastor (Mrs) Taiwo. The goal of this department is to enhance the parish vision of quality and distinction. This group is tasked with the beautification and decoration of the Church.

16. The Welfare Department

Deaconess Egobi doubles both as the HOD and Supervising Minister. This is the department that organises welfare and harnesses all available resources within the church to provide for the needy in the Church.

17. The Hospitality/Care Department

The HOD is Deaconess Ogunfojuri and the Minister-in-charge is Pastor (Mrs.) Taiwo. This is the department that meets the needs of the church in the area of refreshments, food and drinks at church events after Sunday services.

18. The Men’s Fellowship

Bro. Osawe is the President of the Men’s Fellowship and he reports directly to the Senior Pastor. The goal of this fellowship is to enhance the parish vision of quality and distinction by providing educational programs and activities for men to grow spiritually. This fellowship equips the great army of God by training men to possess the land. The mission of the fellowship is to develop strong friendships and accountability among the men of the parish through regular gatherings and group activities, and to build the character of Jesus Christ into every man in the parish.

19. The Women’s Fellowship

The leader of the Women’s Fellowship is Sis. Ogunfojuri and the Minister-in-charge is Pastor (Mrs) Taiwo. The goal of this fellowship is to enhance the parish vision of quality and distinction by providing educational programs and activities for women to grow spiritually. This fellowship consists of a group of married women that empower each other and aim to be the virtuous woman God intended for them to be. Through the women’s fellowship, the women are united and have fellowships that encourage women to develop spirit, soul and body in the character of Christ.

20. The Treasury/Finance Department

Bro. Otakhor is the Parish Treasurer, this department is overseen by the Parish Secretariat. The goal of this fledgling department is to enhance the parish vision of quality and distinction. This department’s duty is to see that the parish finances are properly and effectively managed. This team will be in charge of the church finances, bank reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, financial statement analysis, financial compliance, receipts and expenses.

21. The Printing and Publication Department

This department is overseen by the Parish Secretariat. The department is in charge of the printing and distribution of flyers, bulletins and magazines prepared by the parish.
